Lamborghini Miura

The Lamborghini Miura, styled by Marcello Gandini, made its public debut at the 1966 Geneva motor show.  Its sleek styling and revolutionary design received universal acclaim. The car featured a transversely-mounted mid-engine layout, a departure from previous Lamborghini cars that was to become the standard for mid-engine two-seat high-performance sports cars.
The original production model the P400 was developed into the P400S with slightly revised external details, engine changes and interior comfort changes. The final model was the P400SV with further engine and mechanical modifications and external changes distinguished by the removal of the headlamp "eyelashes" and wider rear arches.  A number of low volume and one off variants were also produced.
