Lamborghini Jarama

Lamborghini Jarama

The Lamborghini Jarama, styled by Marcello Gandini of the Bertone design studio, made its public debut at the 1970 Geneva motor show.  The Jarama was developed to meet new US safety and emissions regulations and is based on a shortened version of the same platform as the Espada.  The original Jarama GT was fitted with a V12 engine developing 350 bhp and evolved into the GTS (commonly known as the Jarama S) with an uprated power output to 365 bhp and several minor body modifications, removable roof panels and automatic transmission option.
The Jarama production was between 1970 and 1976 with a total of 328 cars being produced.
