Lamborghini Espada

The Lamborghini Espada, styled by Marcello Gandini of the Bertone design studio, was based on the Lamborghini Marzal concept car presented at the 1967 Geneva Motor Show.  The Espada was originally fitted with a 3.9 litre V12 engine and was Lamborghini’s first true 4 seater car.  During its 10 year production the Espada was produced as 3 series variants S1, S2 and S3, each with engine power improvements, minor external detail changes and more significant interior changes.
The Lamborghini Espada production was between 1968 to 1978 with 1217 cars produced across the three variants.
