Lamborghini 350GT

The Lamborghini 350GT was the first Lamborghini production car, created by Carrozzeria Touring, the 2 door coupe made its public debut at the 1964 Geneva motor show.  The car was a redesign of the 350GTV prototype with fixed headlights replacing the pop-up ones on the prototype.  Changes were also made mechanically with revised carburettors reducing the engine height and lowering the hood line.
The 350GT was fitted with an aluminium alloy 3.5 litre V12 engine mated to a 5 speed manual transmission driving the rear wheels.   Most cars were fitted with an aluminium body.  Production started in 1964 and continued to 1966 with 130 cars produced.
