Ferrari Dino 308 GT4

The Ferrari Dino 308 GT4, designed by Bertone, made its debut at the Paris Motor Show in 1973.  The 308 GT4 was the first Ferrari with a mid-engined V8 layout and was the first Ferrari with a Bertone rather than Pininfarina bodywork design.  It featured angular lines, as opposed to the curves of its 2 seat brother the Ferrari Dino 246.  It was originally sold with “Dino” badging to differentiate it being a non-V12 car, until 1976 when its badging was changed to Ferrari.  There were 2 variants with later cars being fitted with a single distributor engine and foglamps mounted behind the front grille.
Production of the Ferrari 308 GT4 was between 1973 and 1980 with 2826 cars produced.
